Mix and Match

As the Mixed Media Club Library grows, the ways members can use the designs are endlessly expanding.Take the different background demos taught for each design, for example.  Each background technique can be used as it is demonstrated, of course, but experimentation is always encouraged.  This may be a no brainer for some but there are those of us who need permission to color outside of the lines, so here I give you more than permission.  I would absolutely love for you to do so.  Every time we cover a canvas for a new project, it will always be different, even if we use the same techniques and paint colors.  The real fun begins when we start to layer techniques on the same background.I would also love to see you mix and match backgrounds with design templates from other projects! Miss Millie Sea Turtle could also be swimming to the surface towards the light, just like our first mermaid design (hint of things still to come).  It would also be quite a sight to see our Gnomie hanging out in a birch tree forest!The possibilities are truly endless!  As Maya Angelou once said, "[ We ] can't run out of creativity, the more [we] use, the more [we] have."Thanks for hanging out and growing with me!Donna
