Grateful is a Big Word
When you stop to think about it, the word "grateful" holds so much. We live in busy mode, don't we? I know I do. Life throws an awful lot at us and anytime we can pause and see how much we have to be grateful for, we are reminded how we keep going.
This past weekend started my Thankful holiday week off right. It reminded me of my "why". I am continually reminded, but usually in smaller ways. The energy from the market and the workshop happening in our studio confirmed what I know in my heart. We were all created to be creative. You have heard me say this before and if you have doubts about that statement, I wish you could've seen what I saw.
I saw a parking lot full of makers eager to share their passion with those who get them. Makers do more than create. They spread joy and inspire others to try something new. Our world needs this so much right now. Many thanks to these artisans who sparked the interest of more people who want to try something for themselves. And this is why we do what we do. It is to see the satisfied smile on the face of someone who made it through the process of learning to create something wonderful. It is for the person who feels so wonderful after dipping into their own well of creativity, they just have to tell a friend and cannot wait for their next experience. This makes me grateful today and ready to share that amazing feeling with others.
What does the word "Grateful" hold for you this Thankful Week?
